Intro
I'll come to the point without dragging. This post is about building a spiritual side in a Youths Life. The stories ive heard from wise people ,the old people @ the Masjid. The lesson they have learned throughout their lives and what did they regret about the past.
I'll be mentioning in the POV perspective(1st person point of View)
My whole life Ive been working so hard, making money , spending my life chasing the fabric of what this world had to offer. But I didnt had the time to focus on my deen. Yeah I Prayed ,Fast, gave charity, worshipped Allah_ but when I look back, I regret most of everything. I have money, have a family, kids, grandkids_ but everything I have worked so hard to build dies, leaves me when I die. My family, the money, things ive been chasing_ all those wont come with me when I'm buried 6 Feet Under the Ground.
When I was young, on my youth age_when I had the time, the power, the strength_ I spend all those creating the so called "Perfect Life"!!! So now I realize is this the so called Perfect Life? Perfection isn't the word to describe the regretful life I was living. I thought, ok lets focus on my deen later, I still got the time, come on_ how can I focus more on deen when I have to finish up my degree? So I didnt prioritize the deen. Now at my old age, where I don't have the time, the strength_, I'm trying to fill up the gaps I left behind, focusing more and more into deen.
I wish I had spend more of my youth with deen, focusing on strengthening my Emaan. I wish I had spend more time in masjid, studying about my religion. I wish I had spend my time getting more closer to Allah, cause you don't realize the power of youth until you become old.
You cant balance your career and deen. Always make sure you prioritize your deen more than your career. No matter what people might say_ why are you so religious? Why cant you be normal like us? You are at your youth_ try living in freedom. This is the 21st century. Try connecting with this generation.
Let them say what ever they want, but remember you have a far more, way greater life after death. Its NEVER ENDING. You don't have to pray, you don't have to worship, full of excitement beyond our imagination. I can talk for hours about the next life. The wise person is the one who spend his Youth in remembrance of Allah (SWT).
Don't be selfish and don't feel ashamed when you are speaking about the Allah and Deen. Make people understand the value of this. Preach and give them dawah. You will be asked questions on how you spend your youth, what did you do with the knowledge you had.
When you put Allah in top of everything, both this Dunya and Aahirah will become easy as it goes.
Build a life, go as high as you can in your career_ but don't you ever leave your religion behind. Always make time for Allah, study about the religion, study the Quran and hadeeth. And when you look back, make sure you have prepared a perfect life on the Aahirah too( With Allah SWT mercy)
